was listening to my pro 900s fairly loud one night and the next day i hear some crackling noise coming from the left cup. Then after a little bit it just cuts out. Was connected with my fiio e7 through usb to my laptop. U guys think that could be manufacturer defect? I mean i figured the e7 was rather low power compared to the asgard I was thinking about getting. Plus arent these drivers friggin titanium? The right driver still sounds perfect, so I hope ultrasone will warranty me =/ sad times

A cable or plug problem is also a possibility. Try wiggling the plug or various parts of the cable and see if that brings back the sound temporarily.

yea actually that reminds me if i let them sit for a bit i can get sound for like 2 seconds before it cuts back out. hmm

ill try checking the cable tonight when i get home. ty
