Regardless of the success,

I deem the AD8620 + OPA551 (in the Xenos) better sounding than the AD8397 'in absolute terms'. Unfortunately I had no more AD45048... At least the AD8397 with exposed pad dissipates heat better

The AD8397 Xenos sounded wonderful, with the HD485 & playing Rickie Lee Jones, Live At Red Rocks.

It had a liquid midrange full of nuances, great bass, and great airy treble. It shows how good the HD485 can be!

Now please someone give me a Hornet to compare

The AD8397 Xenos was feeling so good that it went back to my main system, just to see...

It's astonishingly good sounding... So liquid, airy, detailed...

Now I surely hear the potential of the AD8397 !! (which eventually I prefer to the AD45048 which is a little too 'red' in tonality).

Now eagerly awaiting from Norm my 2nd Go-Vibe, with AD8397 and OPA551...
