My apologies for starting a new thread, but I just simply wanted to share the "unboxing" experience. As such, it doesn't qualify for "first impressions" and once I have spent some time with these works of art, I will post those under the JH16 Pro impressions thread.

This is my first custom IEM and I was worried. Back in January, when the preorder opened, I knew nothing of Jerry Harvey or his company. Everything I've learned since came from this forum. My sincere thanks to all who contributed to my education and special appreciation to the folks at JH Audio. Jaime, Zac, you guys rock!!! Let me know when the JH32 preorders start so I can reserve my place in line...

I'm listening to the JH16s, which are a perfect fit! I still can't believe it. So, I have unboxed the thing (thanks for the extra cable, Jaime!) and put on the TWag. Neither the cable, the ALO RX or the Twag are broken in yet. Once I figured out how to put them on (5 minutes, sorry), fired up the gear and Bella Sonus...then the goosebumps started showing up by the numbers. I think an appropriate description would be a Sonic Revelation or Nirvana. I heard NO EVIL! I was IN THE MUSIC, it flowed around me. The extra bass was not intrusive, but cradling in its presence. I was listening to the TF10s just a few minutes before, and they are a fine piece of equipment, but they are simply not the same league as the JH16 Pros. I feel very fortunate to be able to experience this level of aural enjoyment. Jude has put this much more eloquently, so I'm just going to stop. Here are a few pix, plus a link to the rest of my Facebook album containing all of the photos I've taken this afternoon.

WooT! Some real ear-gear! Congrats!

Yup, never heard anything like this before. Simply amazing. Then again, I do not have multiple reference gears at my disposal like Jude and John Amato. I'm just happy to have this one. Glad you like them!

Yeah, that's me...just kidding. I'm not that good looking in real life. But at one point I could have had all those different earbuds hanging on me like a Christmas tree. Now, some $$$ later, sanity has returned. There can be only One....LOL

warp08, can you please explain further the 2 sentences above you have said. I felt a sense of incompleteness about the sound description of this rich customized earphones.

Those are very impressive. I was wondering about the artwork ( as I have not ordered these kind of HPs before) do you have to pick it from a selection or can you just give them an image of your choice?

You can give them an image to work with.
