....battery leak, that is.
I came home today and my iPod Classic 80gig was so dead, it wouldn't even power on. It displayed an image of the battery with a red bar, and no backlight. Then it turned off within 3 seconds.
I used it for all of an hour last night, and I always keep it charged after I use it. This morning I took it off of the charger. It always turns on by itself when you pull the charging cable out of it, but as always I turned it off. I double checked to make sure it was off. When I came home and tried to use it, it was as dead as a doornail.
The good news is when I recharged it for 3 hours, it held it's charge.... for now. But if it does it again, back to the Apple store it goes for the old iPod switcharoo I've become so familiar with (3 times with the 5g), although I bought this one from Amazon.
