The X Dac V3 is a greta head amp. Especially if you throw in the upgraded power supply X PSU. Very detailed sound with alittle tube warmth, a good match for the 600s. RAL also has a upgrade cable to go from the X Psu to the X DAc that will taken the performance up even higher.

It's a nice setup, I was thinking about getting an x-dac, how does it sound, and where did you get it?

It sounds great - warmth and detail. Great companion for an X-Can V3. I've got it used on eBay. Don't know if you'll find one anymore.

Musical Fidelity now makes X-DAC V3, probably I'll get one sometime... But for now, I'm completely satisfied with my old and good X-24K.

I have only X-24K plugged into X-PSU... Unfortunately, I can't also plug the X-CAN V3, because it has different power connector.
