Some days ago we talked about music and stuff, and she said "those songs you've copied from cd's to my player sounds considerably better than mine". She has a nano with px-100 setup and has a lot of mp's in her collection. Sadly, but most of them are some badly encoded 160-192kbps mp3's. She likes Muse and i've bought some cds for her and encoded them in 192vbr AAC's. And she noticed the difference, while i never asked her on purpose, she understood(or heared) the difference herself...
Maybe i'm stupid but it was a pleasant surprise for me as a head-fier...

I do believe that. Bad MP3s are.... really bad. Now if she could tell the difference between lossless and Lame V2 new~vbr, i would be really impressed because I'm still failing the ABX test on that one.
