Woohoo! After almost 5 months of waiting I got the e-mail from Craig today that it's about to get shipped. Very excited for the ZDT!

I suppose the more important question I should have asked above was - which headphones?

Currently I have a Senn HD595 and AKG 702. I want a closed one down the line not to disturb my wife in the office but haven't decided on which one. I've wanted to listen to a Denon 7000 but haven't found one to try yet. The 5000 (modded) i heard a recent meet did sound pretty great though.

You could get D7000 for around $6xx which is a great deal.

I see you've decided to reduce the cost of future upgrades by buying the ultimate amp first. Good thinking! Much smarter than buying lots of little amps and selling them each three months later.....
