Saturday night I was visiting my mother's but unfortunately she had to work. So I hoofed it over to my friend's house and woke him up. Turns out he was supposed to be at a recording studio a half hour before he woke up. I asked if I could tag along. I could.

Apparently my friend's classmate was recording a song for his wedding. My friend laid down the bass and violin tracks for it. Listening to the song progress from a MIDI drumbeat (nasty situation with the drummer don't ask) and a guitar track to: drum, guitar, bass, male vocal, female vocal (harmonic), and violin was a really cool experience.

The headphones they used in the studio were ATH-M30s. I was so curious and wanted to listen to them so badly but the cans were in constant use. Ah well. Overall I thought this was a great experience.
