    got a bit frustrated with the small wires from my d2000 ,every tangle was leaving a nasty little kink in the wire so this was my soloution ,you may think its rubbish but it works for me ,just used £1 cable tidy and cut to lenth its very light so thats not a problem

That is ghetto... AND AWESOME. The wires tangling is a nagging issue on the D7000s too. I hate having to make sure I didn't twist the wires up every time I put them on. Once my warranty is up, I'll probably recable them to a cable that doesn't tangle.

I wonder if anyone makes a flat recable. I LOVE flat cables, like the Sony XBs.
