Hello
I've finally finished my CMOY. Took me about three or four days to get it debugged. Since Tangent's site was down for those couple days I decided to just use the schematic from the CMOY tutorial and figure it out myself. While I ended up destroying a PCB and (a few afternoons) I learned tons about the overall operation of the op-amp and am quite sure any problems in the future will quickly be debugged. The final result ended up being a big ghetto operation but at least it works! It is a basic CMOY using a serpac 9v case and a little yellow LED. I haven't even put a power switch in it yet. The LED still pulses with the music but it does not seem to affect the battery life negatively. If it starts to drain the batter I will update.
Also today I went out to the local Tweeter and bought some Sennheiser HD 590's which I have yet to burn in. But my initial impression was positive considering my only other intoduction to higher end audio was the sony e-888's.
Thankyou CMOY and Tangent for making those great tutorials.
