Maybe I'm driving you nuts? I've been enjoying myself participating in voluntary design reviews, I'd rather play in Illustrator than watch TV. It's ok for me to build dozens of charging circuits to see what happens, but my PIMETA parts orders are $200 each. (That's a good reason to build MINTs in J12s, why not?)
Miniaturization has always fascinated me, I made 3" kites that flew as a kid, I was limited in the end by the twist in the filament I used as string.
Some of us do enjoy a beverage of choice every now and then. Maybe you should take up drinking?
