Hi all,. I'm looking to upgrade my Fitears. Had them for awhile and I guess I want something new. I tried wireless earbuds (Sony) but don't like the planned obsolescence in battery life. So I would like a pair of high end universal earbuds. I tried looking but there are Soo many brands now I'm really confused. I don't have alot of time to do research either as im leaving for china in about 10 days. What do you recommend I check out for about USD 2000 and below?
Comfort is important to me. They may sound like the cats knees, but if they are uncomfortable I will not use them. Sound sq wise I like a clear midrange, deep bass, but not excessive, treble that's smooth. I can't take sibilance. Prefer a warmer sound to one that's highly clinical. So let me know what's out there guys! All recommendations welcomed. Cheers.
