Welcome to everybody.

I'm just looking for some replacement for my orignal headphones from Creative MUVO TX FM. First, I wanted to buy Senns MX 550, but on this forum i also saw a very good opinions about Koss KSC75. But I don't like big headphones too much...
Is the Koss sound really is so better then senn? Even without any amp? On MUVO? Should I try to habituate to bigger cans, or not?

Thank you in advance.

Ps: Sorry for my English

Why not buy both since they are different cans (style-wise) and they are inexpensive?

Having not heard the MX550 but owning the KSC-75 and hearing a lot about Sennheiser's buds, I can safely say that the KSC-75 are the better choice. I liked them more than my Sennheiser HD497 which were nice, open cirumaural cans rivaled only by the SR-60 and HD280 (in the price range that is) at the time I bought them (now there's the new EH series and the HD201 from Senn and some AKG and Beyer cans I wasn't aware of at the time). You can't go wrong with the KSC-75s...

My vote is for the koss KSC. Amp it and they sound HUGE. Ive never heard that particulr senn, but I'd be shocked if it scaled up to amplification half as well as the koss.

They sound great unamped. I used to (i sold it to my sis) have a MuVo V200 ( it uses the same chipset as the TX FM) it sounds fine coming from the MuVo and all though it is not as loud as my iRiver ifp 795, it is still adequately loud from the MuVo.

I do not have the MX550 but I do have the MX400, and all though I do not have the MX550, I can say with out a doubt that the KSC 75 would sound light years ahead of the MX550.

Another vote for Koss here. Works well with any type of music.

The Muvo isn't weak I own a slightly older MuVo NX and it is able to drive my SR60 to ear bleeding volume (quality not withstanding).

My KSC50 sounds okay on all of my portables.

Ok... So koss is the winner. But they are little to big (much bigger then my MUVO for shure!). What's about Koss the plug (sparkle)? Do they sound similar do KSC 75?

Ps: Just want to find compromise between (not so good, but small) Senn and Koss...

Yeah I have both the MX 550 and the Koss KSC 75 and the Koss sweeps the floor with the senn's. There soundstage and bass is incredible from a 20$ set of headphones. I love em, even unamped!

IMHO they sound very good unamped straight out of my MUVO TX, and certainly dont really need an amp.

I use them unamped all the time with my KSC75 when Im chasing my kid around the soccer field, and I dont want to lug around any extra weight.
