If you can live with the tiny ass screen on the player then yer its a good deal but searching through 5gig of music would be very painful. I would recommend getting a zen micro or iriver h10 they are certainly worth the extra dollars and you get a bigger screen as well.

if you don't mind the one line screen and the long boot up time after transferring music/files, the muvo2 is actually quite a good music player.

I you like to listen to your music randomly or like to listen by album, then the Muvo2 FM is fine. If you like to listen to individual tracks or make playlists on the fly, then it's not very good. Just have your folders organized something like this and you'll be fine:

Music-->Genre-->Artist-->Album-->Tracks

The FM radio is pretty good and can auomatically detect stations in your area. The Mic is not that good, especially in large rooms or auditoriums. I managed to record two concerts and they sound okay, but not great.
