I am looking for the following components if they even exist.
 
-  Total song count / size.  ie. 10000 songs 100gb.
 
Playcount
 
-  Show playcount beside song name.
 
Genre organization
 
-  Show genre beside album/title/artist at the top.

a) select a playlist or select all songs and check the properties, you can also put the selection properties window into your layout.
b) foo_playcount, add a column Played: %play_count%
c) you mean in the group? just add %genre% to the group

I don't want the whole selection properties, just the size somewhere on the bottom.
 
When I have my library "all" selected it says 10000 songs 4 weeks, 3 days for example.
 
I added the play count, but it does not update when a track finishes.  Tried with a few.
 
genre worked though.

In the properties - Default User Interface - add to statusbar:  [%filesize_natural%]
That's just the currently playing song though.
 
Check if Library -> Playback Statistics -> Monitor is checked
Also, don't just skip to the end. You need to actually play a couple of minutes or a third of the song or thereabouts.

I am using columns ui.  I want it for all songs, not current.  Is that not possible?

Okay I was skipping to the end of the track.  Apparently you have to play at least half of the song.  Is there anyway to edit playcount of  a song and have a most played list?

Dunno, not using columns ui.
 
I also never had to edit playcount, but you could tag the files by adding PLAY_COUNT and then right click - playback stats - import from tags.
 
Most played: Library - Search: %play_count% GREATER 0 SORT DESCENDING BY %play_count% then press [...] create autoplaylist

Can I limit the most played like top 50 similar to iTunes?
 
Can you show a screenshot of your Foobar?  Without columns ui the layout is very hard to configure.
