Well, my current setup is laptop>musiland MD10 via usb. Now, if I were to buy the SRC10 how would I be able to set it up? Is it Laptop>MD10>SRC10 or Laptop>SRC10>MD10? I am in the process of building myself a computer so would I have to get a bit perfect sound card with toslink or something output so I can use the SRC10?

Thats what I thought...how could I connect the pc to the SRC10 seeing as the SRC10 doesn't have an usb input?

What cheap sound card would be good to connect the two?

go optical on the sound card? doesn't usb degrade the signal to some extent anyway?
