I play guitar and I'm looking for earplugs that attenuate equally across frequencies. The only ones I've been able to find are tri-flanges (which I hate). Are there any expanding foam style earplugs that attenuate equally?
Any help would be appreciated

ER-20's rock. Just get used to them. I used them while I was playing in a blues band last year, they sound great and are really cheap.

Custom earplugs can be made out of a few different materials, though I'm not sure any would be quite as cushioning as foam. Then again, since they're molded to your ear canal's shape, they should be snug and comfortable.
