Any recommendations for a very musical solid-state or hybrid full-size headphone amp without brightness/harshness/edginess/fatigue? I'm using LCD-3 headphones.

Hi mate, Schiit Asgard 2 is surprisingly 'warm' for a solid-state. Also keeps your pot of coffee warm if you sit it on top!

Ampsandsound Kenzie is the next amp I'm getting it was fantastic with my Ether-C's which tend to be bright for many and also great with the Focal Utopias heard at a meet. The other is the Microzotl 2 which is also a great amp. It ran my C's very well indeed and both were quite musical the Kenzie was more smooth but either I would own.

The Microzotl is a hybrid and the Kenzie is a transformer output that is great with Planars . There is also this I liked it a lot. http://www.airistaudio.com
