Sometimes little decisions come back to bite you. When I moved to Austria, in the interest of taking one more pair of shoes, I left my '580s at home, in favour of a pair of Koss KSC-50s.
I didn't realise what a dumb decision until I came back to my parents' for xmas, driven by a Total AirHead.
The fact of the matter is, good sound makes good music better. And now I'm in bliss listening to Temirkanov's interpretation of Shostakovich 7, played by the St. Petersburg Phil.
