Hey I recently bought a pair of PFE 012s and i found myself struggling to enjoy the music as it was to cold and no bass.

I listen to music for pure enjoyment and to get lost in a beautiful thumping beat or a magical guitar solo and not for perfect reproduction.

At home i use the AD700s with a SB X-fi Pro EQed with a boost on low-mid and 4k and dip at 1k. However i love to whack on the 9db bass boost for dnb etc...

Musical tastes are mainly Electronic/rock/hip hop from Led zep to dylan and Dr dre.

Can i get that warm musical bass and tones from an IEM or will i need a portable set of cans

Current Ideas:

IE8
Radius DDM
HD 25-1 II
Turbines

Give your recommendations and opinions on any of these or other iems/cans

No Budget per se but any more than £150 would like a serious warranty :)

tl:dr : answer the title :)

Cheers

Add the Panasonic HJE900 to your list, they are under £100 on amazon!  Not heard them myself but have read they have really good bass response, although the treble may be bright for some.

Think im going to go with the IE8s as the basic view is that they make music a pleasure to listen to and thats all i need

Using with a RB Clip+ so can EQ that hump out :)

Any1 see a better alternative
