I am very passionate about music and create soothing music mixes as a hobby in genres like: modern classical, ambient, piano, electronica etc. 
What kind of Modern Classical and Ambient music soothes and relaxes you?

Hey there quietstorm - you may like this mini mix I made a while ago if you're into ambient mixes. It's dark ambient though, and I wouldn't necessarily call it soothing... it's not background music either really (unless you want you creeping dread in the background!) - best listened to in total darkness.
