Hi guys, I just created an account on Head-Fi since I really have no idea what I'm getting into when it comes to headphones and I need some help. I bought the Plantronics GameCom 777 headset a year ago, which *I think* doesn't have good audio quality, but I want to have headphones with good audio quality. The problem is, I don't know what good audio quality sounds like since the only thing I listen to is the headset I currently have.
I'm just wondering if I do upgrade my headphones to something in the $200-250 range, will there be a big jump in audio quality? If so, what headphones are the best that are under $250? I was looking around and the headphones that stick out to me are the Sennheiser 598. They look awesome and the reviews are good, but I also want to know what other options are out there. Sorry that it's a lot of questions, I just really want help on this stuff D:
