I really like The Beach Boys, The Monkees, and Beatles, and the Guess Who.
I just got into the Beach Boys more than usual lately. I'm late the party I guess. The recording quality can bother me somewhat sometimes, but the music is fun both timeless AND dated.
The Monkees actually put out a new album in 2016, called good times. Check it out! It's good!
