Multiple sound cards--can it be done? Most definitely...plus E-MU 0404 impressions!

Does it matter which I install first?
Will one setup try to overwrite any of the files the other uses?

Thanks

The reason that the EMU and Audigy drivers conflict is because they share a number of files, but the EMU driver's use a newer version of one that isn't compatible with the Audigy drivers. The Via Envy24HT drivers do not share any files with the Audigy's drivers so you shouldn't have any issues with that.

Thanks. I had a hunch that the reason people had trouble with the zs and emu line of cards was because they're both manufactured by Creative and probably have similar drivers...

I can order them confidently now, knowing I shouldn't run into any conflicts during install.
