MSB electrostat headphone amp - US$37,950 - a possible contender with T2 ???

The ad copy seems like technobabble to me.  If the DAC can drive the headphone directly what do you need the amp for?  And if  you need the amp, the DAC is not driving the headphone directly.  A DAC typically puts out a couple volts of signal, and a stat headphone typically needs a few HUNDRED volts at full cry so it just doesn't make any sense.  But what do I know?
