I just got the MS2 today and one thing, I realized they don't have very strong clamping force actually it is very weak . They just sit gently on my ears. Is this supposed to be like this because my MS1 had a very strong clamping force. Thanks...

Thanks for your answer... It is not a comfort issue. It is just my old MS1 were providing a stronger clamping force while MS2s dont. Maybe, they are heavier that could be the reason ???

The MS-2 does not clamp hard indeed (the Grado SR-80 I owned clamped much harder and more securely). Using the flat pads, in addition to the better comfort, should lead to the headphone sitting more securely since there is greater surface contact (hence friction) between your ears and the pads. In my case too, which may or may not apply to you or others, the flat-padded MS-2 sat at a more correct angle with my ears.

My 325i's are the same way. I think it is because of the weight of the cans they are pulling down more than inwards. I like it.

and remember... the headbands of grado/alessandro's are meant to be bent to fit your head. Don't be afraid to tighten/loosen the clamp by bending them slightly. Only one thing to look out for: grab the headband itself for bending and not the cups! Putting pressure on the cups may cause them to fall out of the C-holder or worse make the L/R-block pop off the headband

Well, I am getting used to the fit and the SS. Simply loving it
