Hi guys, im so happy that i finally grab a pair of ms2i.
But i still have some doubts.....
Bought them from another head-fier who recabled these ms2i by ath-w2002 original cable and terminated by an 1m 3.5 jack
I do not know how original ms2i sound like and I just curious that whether the sound will be changed obviously? totally different style or just make no sense....

Don't worry that you are missing out or anything like that. Yes, there is a difference between cables but they are very small. FWIW, just enjoy your headphones.

They are not that hard to find. You can get them directly from Sennheiser or you can find someone that is willing to ship them to Melbourne here. If that doesn't work for you PM me and I will order them for you.

The picture isn't the right one. Those look like leather Beyer pads to me. The HD414 pads are geeky and yellow.
