Looking for some open back headphones around $100 that can be driven without an amp. The Alessandro seemed like the obvious choice, but I'm concerned about the small soundstage. I listen to a fair amount of orchestral music - along with all types of jazz and 60s-80s rock and R&B. That has me considering in the AKG K141 mkii. The K240 is in the mix as well. Any other suggestions would be welcome, although I've ruled out the ATH AD700x (too big). Thanks!

If you buy Grado L-Cushion pads for the MS1i, then the soundstage improves (along with the sound quality in general), but the presentation is still quite intimate.
 
They will make jazz / rock / R&B sound amazing though
