I've been away from a desktop setup for close to 8 years now. Education and work have kept me away from home in that time, and now having finally settled down again I'm looking to run a simple desktop setup with a small footprint.
I'm looking mainly for advise on what software/player to use. If there is a setup guide available for the same that would be super useful as well!
I'm very keen to control playback via my Android phone (Samsung S20 Ultra) if possible.
I have a Microsoft Surface GO lying around, I plan to connect a USB C hub to the Surface, with a SSD and my DAC connected to the hub.
