why would one purchase the sr-125, if for 50 dollars less, you can purchase the ms-1?

nevertheless.. i still wait on my pair of ms-1 to arrive... i hate being impatient.

I honestly don't know. I got to take a listen to the sr125, and the two are similar, but with one difference that is a big one for me. The sr125 has the same level of enjoyment as the ms-1, but there's an added harshness there, and that harshness is headache-inducing, at least for me. The ms-1 packs the same punch with no extra harshness added. IMO that makes it a better headphone.

It's only when I plug the ms-1's into my home setup that the cracks start to show. You know that feeling when you've milked all you can out of a set of headphones, and from here on out can only hear the faults. But at that price point it's to be expected. From my ipod with an amp, these things are just pure fun.
