I've narrowed it down to the MPX-3 from single power or the Black Cube.
I own a senn HD-650, I need help and ideas as to which would bring my listening experience to new high. Please give me your thoughts- pros and cons

I take it you have read everything about these two amps

. To me, they are two very fine amps, but different in the sonic characters. The MPX3 has the "tube magic" although it doesn't have to have a euphonic sound IMO, quite the contrary. To my ears it can be very "natural", at least with the HD650. It all depends on the tubes used.

I have auditioned the BC Linear at a meet, but unfortunately I didn't change the gain to a setting better suited for the HD650. Nevertheless, if the MPX3 has a natural sound, the BC has a neutral IMO. They are both very good amps, and ultimately, it comes down to the choice between solid state sound and tubes.
