Ok so I have heard off FLAC but compared to MP3 what is the differance between the two? Is it sound quality I want to know! Thank you!

Yeah the difference is basically sound quality and file size.
Like a 4 minute mp3 is 9.72mb while a 4 minute flac is around 35mb.

It depends partially on the bitrate of the MP3. You'll lose some quality, but the bitrate will determine how much.
