I have these 2 specific requirements for an MP3 player. I believe only the iRiver and Cowon have the balance controls. Are there any current models from cowon or others that have balance control and a line-out?

Could someone with an iRiver confirm that the balance control still works when the line-level is used?

In the h100 and h300 series (and anything else based on the uda1380 codec) the fader control (volume, balance, and the tilt EQ iirc) are all performed in the interpolator, which is in front of the line-out and iirc the digital out on the h120.

Not that i have tried it myself recently. I don't have my h120 with me at the moment.
