Many people seem to think this site is just for amateurs promoting their bands. Totally not true! I've actually found sooooooo much new music through that site. I mean... any site which let's artists list MP3's free of charge, and sells CD's for them gets a lot of respect from me. I've discovered quite a few awesome bands through that site.

I've discovered Cinema Strange, Element, and many others. I've got a whole new respect for that site now. The best thing is, quite a few of these bands are reigonal, and very easy for me to go see live.

And for the record companies...

If you don't think MP3's help promote bands, this PROVES YOU WRONG!!!!

True. I downloaded a whole CD-A worth of tunes from Roger McGuinn.

I recently discovered this site, and it's now become the most common place for me to find whole-song music samples. But of course they don't have everyone I've looked for, so the thrill of the hunt is still there.

I just think it's a great place to discover up-and-coming new bands, regardless of genre.
