It seems to me I've read about the software here before, but for the life of me I haven't been able to pull it up in search.

Can anyone direct me to the thread or otherwise point me in the direction of a small software program that pulls MP3 Data from an online database to fill in the ID tags/correct improperly filled out ID tags on MP3's? I'm getting tired of going through and fixing all of the little errors/filling in data on each song I rip.

Thanks.

iTunes doesn't fill in the tags. As far as I know all it does is check for album art. I've never had it fix or fill in info on any of the tags.

iTunes draws the information from Gracenote CDDB, an excellent source of tags, but it isn't a stand alone tagger.

Thanks a bunch.

I don't use iTunes to rip my cd's, No LAME support there.
