hi,
my friend is selling a Motu 828 for cheap, £250.
Im borrowing it off him for a week, and am thinking of buying it of him mainly so I can run my NAD C521BEE cd player into it, and use the Motu as a seperate DAC. from there I can use my headphones from the Phone output on the it, and eventually get an amp. So, NAD CD > Motu 828 > Amp.
I never planned on getting a seperate DAC as I don't have much cash to spend, but for £200 will the DAc in this make a big diference from the NAD's? M guess is, it should make a hell of a difference.
My quesiton is, is this a good idea. Bare in mind I might also use it in the future to record my guitar into PC.
