As a motorcyclist tired of bad sounding intercoms I am looking for iems that will fit under my helmet. I have previously used Klipsch as they fit my tight ear canals. First X10, then bluetooth T5's. The T5's work but a bit of a hassle on and off with the helmet. I'm also on my 4th pair (warranty replacements) as the battery craps out after a few months of use.

Etymotic research have a few offerings that look very low profile and thin. Cable is not a problem. Any suggestions?

prior to the active noise cancelling IEMs that are available today, i rode many years using the etymotic er6i with comply tips. they fit in the ears really snugly and are small with no stem and would not get in the way of the helmet. donʻt know if the etymotic offerings nowadays have stem-less varieties like the er6i...
