Most well balanced headphones?

hd600s probably are the most balanced out of those 3. hd650s lean toward the warm/full side and k701s toward the lighter airy side.. hd600s are of course closer to hd650s than to k701s ;p

without a doubt the 701s. If you have the proper source and amp, almost nothing sounds better or as well balanced in its price class.

HD600 sounds better to my ears given such conditions :-/ Blanket statement.

I have both the HD650s and HD600s and spent a lot of time recently with recabled K701s. I give the edge to the HD600s, though I can't see the OP being disappointed in any of those three if properly amped and with dang decent source.

I use my HD600 for just about everything! There are times when I prefer them for rock even over my MS2i!

.....but yeah; for guitars, the Alessandros' are king!

SA-5000s +2

Mine are balanced and i love them alot better then my 701s, tons more bass and mid range, more rounded sound instead of a non-existent bass.
