So there are a lot of threads discussing overrated/underrated headphones, personal favorites, and the like but I have yet to read a thread about headphones that are liked by almost all who hear them.

Any ideas?

The Denon phones (D1000, 2000, 5000 & 7000) seem to have gained a lot of fans since their release as well.

most likely. I don't own the ksc75 though. i just read about it A LOT on here.

OP didn't say best. He said universally praised.

For all of the cans listed so far , there are detractors. I haven't heard any yet for the JH-13 Pros.

Yeah, right now it's the JH13 Pro. The KSC35 is supposedly better than the KSC75, so I'll vote for that as well. Funny thing is that the top tier cans are all fairly divisive, except for the JH13.

I've read a ton about the KSC75's and Portapro's, along with HF-1's, AD700's, and some JVC HA-RX700/900 stuff (more 700 though).
