Most informative head-fi thread

For me it would have to be the threads that has cost me the most money, too. And despite having upgraded pretty much every aspect of my headphone system, the most informative thread for me is in the Music Forum! While I've listened to a little bit of everything, from melow and melodic to metal and industrial, I never listened to the "darker" stuff, and the dark metal discussions in the Darkest Desires threads have been amazing.

While I haven't posted in any of them, largely because I'm just playing catch-up and haven't really had anything new to add, the sheer number of bands discussed at length in these threads have caused my wallet considerable pain. I certainly haven't liked everything, but thanks to these threads I'm thoroughly enjoying music I never would've considered just a year ago

There are so many informative threads here in this forum I don't know where to begin. Some of them audio related some of them not, but the one that is most memorable to me and one that I still refer back to is Duncan's PCDP review as it has been mentioned by several other members ealier in this post. When I first started collecting vintage PCDPs and need info about what was available out there, Duncan's review served as wealth of info where many various models were listed and it made it easy to do comparisons without having to browse thru several different sites and trying to piece together various info.
