Im a college student who does a lot of walking/running with my headphones and I tend to stuff them in my pocket so I really need a set of durable headphones that are priced under $100. thanks for your help

I feel like I'm not the only one who would suggest the Nuforce NE-7m. Nice bass response and accurate treble. These are pretty airy, non-fatiguing, and (if worn over/behind the ear) produce very little microphonic sound.
Plus they're only 50$.
Good luck,
NICK

I think the Nuforce NE-7M are pretty durable, while my Z.buds arrived broken and needed me to put them back together, and the Z.buds sound like poo vs the NE-7M. The $49 NE-7M sound better than a $100 IEM, while the Z.buds sound worse than the free buds that come with the iPhone.

The $159 Phonak Audeo PFE sound even better, but seem like it would be easier to hurt the cable where they enter the earpiece if you don't keep them in a case, and they are out of your $100 price range. Don't know anything about the Etymotic or Shure or Ultimate Ears offerings for iPhone.

Sorry to revive and older thread but I had a friend at the gym ask me the same question. I'm not familiar with durable buds, I guess I find my CX300-II's enough. Could any of you comment on how these would hold up during running?
