Budget of $150.(Might be able to make an exception for $200)

What is the best headphone or headset out there, that is the most comfortable for gaming.  I don't care about bass and "fun" rating.  I have read MadLustEnvy's rankings and researched them as well.  Is comfort the most subjective?

I want to be able to wear the headphones for 2hours straight and not notice they are on.  Light clamping, if any at all.  Soft pads, no ear sweat.

I'm close to buying the Siberia V2, Skullcandy SLYR, or Razr Kraken PRO.  I'm also a fan of the Fedelio X1's but they are above the budget right now.

ATH ES7 are feasible.  Not sure I trust this website, but: http://www.budgetproductsz.com/audiotechnica-audiotechnica-athes7bk-headphone-p-21950.html has it for $90, otherwise they are $150 + Amazon has them for $260

ES10 are $300 or $400 up to $2,005.55 for a used pair on amazon.  heh

Sony MDR-MA900. Mad Lust Envy wasn't kidding about that comfort.

The discontinuation means you'll have to keep your eyes peeled to find one under $200, though, let alone $150 like when it was still in production.

Still thinking about parting with mine, but only because this month's gonna be tight.

I haven't even heard of the 10R until now, much less tried one.

It appears to be a drastically different design from the F1 and MA900, too, so it's not going to feel the same in all likeliness.

I had the PLYR1 and they were decently clampy and hot.  I'd stay away from the SLYR1 if comfort is your main thing.

Of course, if two hours is your limit, most any headphone will be comfy for that timeframe.  Even something like the Q701 with the infamous bumps doesn't start getting uncomfortable until after two hours.  Just avoid any that are actively described as uncomfortable.

My problem is I think I'm extremely anal about comfort.  So while maybe 2hours is my limit, I tried a few highly rated comfort ones that I believed had too tight of a clamp, and could only last 10min before having to take them off for a breather.  I'm really liking the reviews for the MDRMA900, and if it was $150 new I'd probably pull the trigger. =/

OMG why haven't the DT990's been brought up? They're super comfy and great for gaming as well. Pair them up with an AntLion ModMic and call it a day.

I've been watching the 880s on amazon.  990's better?  Any OHM version?  The 250 OHM Pro's are $150 on amazon right now.

HD558 and HD600 (out of OP's price range) are pretty comfy.

558's are like $120.  But all I hear is Sennhesier has a lot of clamp.  The 3 that I recently tried did.  And MadLust's reviews of the 598's state they area little clampy as well.

The MDRMA900's look nice.  What kind of shape are yours in and are you thinking of selling them?

Sorry about the delayed response; haven't been on Head-Fi in a while.

They're near-mint, complete in box, and due to current circumstances, I actually am thinking of selling them! (Normally, I wouldn't.)
