People always ask for the "best" headphone at a certain price point.

There are infinite definitions of neutrality and how we perceive lifelike presentation of music.

For this exercise use your own judgment.

So, for classical and acoustic music, what do you think the most accurate or neutral headphones under the following price points are:

300$
150$
50$

DT48.. Transducers were actually made for acoustics for research & measurement purposes. 800's were also designed for highly accurate acoustic playback.. DT48 used can cost you 60-270..

people here have very different ideas of what neutral sounds like, you'd be better off saying what doesn't sound neutral about your ms1, and going from there

Best to stop saying natural, real, or accurate.. I now say more accurate.. & yes, everything in audio is subjective & opinion based, unfortunately.

The 240DF's bring a smile to my face every time I listen to some of the old motown recordings. I feel like I'm in the studio with the engineer/producer listening to the band/singers. Maybe it's just subjective, so don't shoot me, but that's how I feel.
