It's a good match for the HD-600. However, it cannot be used with low-impedance headphones. Very good tonal balance, smooth and pleasant sound, but not a lot of fine detail. A lot of the detail issues can be mostly resolved with a good set of tubes. I'm using Amperex Bugle Boy ECC82, and a pair of RCA (Amperex) ECC88's.
