Odd... at the headfest for me almost every K701 I tried seemed much more confortable and the 650's there. Not as much clamping (maybe they needed to be stretched more) and a really soft fit, I thought they felt great. But regardless, I'm still getting the HD650's. I think they are both comfortable headphones and the difference between them should not really be a factor as they are rather close.
