More color, superb sound: Three new in-ear headphones from beyerdynamic - DTX 71 iE, DTX 101 iE and MMX 101 iE

Beyer fanboy, very happy with my DTX 100's. One thing that could be improved though is the noise isolation of the buds: with the DTX 100's, I still hear a lot of outside noise seeping through. (Much more than with the HiFiMan RE0's, for example.) I hope that's improved in this version.

Apart from that: way to go, Beyer! Looking forward to hearing the new DTX 101 iE's.

Curious to see if the cord end will plug cleanly into a hard-case enclosed iphone. A quick browse of the Beyer website came up with nada.

So what exactly warranted the price drop between the 100's and the 101's?  I hope its not a quality related issue, and I hope even more its not a sound quality issue!

AKG's in ear line, I found out about these at the start of last year.

I guess this make the AKG the only major brand that doesn't have an IEM line.

And beyerdynamic already has an IEM line, that looks almost exactly like these. Maybe at some point they'll chime in and respond to the post asking them how these are better.
