hi,

i was wondering if moon audio uses the stock left to right cable on their single entry recables? if so do you think this causes a difference in the right ear?

thanks,

The preference is to do a split mod to replace all wire and keep both lengths of cable equal. The price is the same as a single entry with a complete rewire to the right side, so might as well do split mod. There is no point leaving a week link in there. But if the customer does not request a complete rewire for a single entry, then the stock wire is left in place. When we do a split mod. We do leave the wire that goes through the headband so it plugs the 2 small grommets on the top of the cups. The wire is no longer used electrically but is used to plug the grommet hole to prevent leakage.
