Sansa M230 $12.50 shipped (Woot!)
Koss KSC35 $10.00 (Creative sale a few years ago)

$22.50 total. Sounds excellent!

Nice! I placed my beginner rig on quality at about $50. I use a 1st gen shuffle instead for the source. Darn impressive sound.

Comparing costs for everyone with the amp and line out dock for walking around that match that price and probably still don't reach that fidelity, I'd say you got it about right.

Yea, I can truly say that I am walking around with a high end setup. It was money very well spent. People often see me walking and wonder why I am smiling.

The actual Total retail value including the iPod though is:
