Just now I was listening to Know Your Enemy on my Monster Turbines, paused, started listening again, and I hear crackling coming from the right earpiece accompanying what I'm guessing is a certain frequency in the mids or midbass. This has never happened before so I tried listening through my computer, but same problem. I also tried blowing on the driver, and switching the tips but it's still there. Is this a cable issue? I have noticed that at one point in the cable there is a slight kink and there is a tiny hole in the rubber. I've also noticed the rubber lining for the right earpiece is slightly loose.
 
I bought in November so I'm still under warranty and will probably return to Amazon. I will miss these though. The fit and sound is great.
