hey fellas,
i have a pair of hifiman he4xx plannar magnetic headphones on the way, i just figured i'm gonna need an amp to drive those beasts, from what i understand despite their relatively low impedence they do require a decent amp to drive properly, i'm now on the fence between two options:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KVVX2QW/ref=s9_dcacsd_dcoop_bw_c_x_3_w

and the second option:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N03A7RL/ref=s9_dcacsd_dcoop_bw_c_x_1_w

can anyone suggest which one would be a better option?

thanks in advance to everybody!

Unfortunately i cannot comment on the tube amp, but i have the first one and it has never performed unsatisfactorily. Details are clear and well separated, and it definitely improves the sound out of my over ear headphones vs straight from my desktop. I will say that i have on occasion heard some very faint scratching as i adjust the volume, but as i tend to leave my volume at about the same level this usually isn't an issue.
